Love cats and have two hours a week to spare? Would you love to help homeless cats but don't have room for another kitty companion in your home? Consider Volunteering! The Purrfect Pals Offsite Adoption Center in the Southcenter PetsMart is currently in need of cat lovers who are interested in volunteering as Adoption Counselors or Cleaner/Socializers.

If you have two hours a week to spare and would like to make a difference in the lives of rescued cats, please email me at conniegabelein@yahoo.com for more information or visit us online at www.purrfectpals.org. We are also looking for volunteers in our main shelter up in Arlington and other offsite adoption centers.

Our highest priority volunteer needs in Tukwila include:

*Tuesday Afternoon Cleaner/Socializer (4-6pm) - scooping litter, cleaning up any messes our "rock stars" make in their cages, filling food and water dishes, letting the cats out to play and cuddle in our adoption room
*Thursday Evening Adoption Counselor (6-8pm) - processing adoptions, answering questions regarding our cats and Purrfect Pals, snuggling kitties
*Friday Evening Adoption Counselor (6-8pm)
*Saturday Afternoon Adoption Counselor (1-4pm)
*Sunday Afternoon Adoption Counselor (1-4pm)

Purrfect Pals is a nonprofit, no-kill cat shelter and sanctuary committed to rescuing and placing cats and kittens in loving, responsible homes. Purrfect Pals saves the lives of more than 2,500 homeless cats each year. In addition to adopting cats through PetsMart and our other partner stores' adoption centers, we help place special needs cats and provide a comfortable long-term sanctuary for cats diagnosed with Feline leukemia and FIV positive cats. We also offer low cost spays/neuters for cats to low income individuals and families. PetsMart generously donates the space, food and litter in our Adoption Center. For more information regarding our organization, please visit www.purrfectpals.org.
